| About Emergency Reimbursement Services
Emergency Reimbursement Services President, Debra Kaiser Murphy, watched as 12 fire departments closed in her hometown. Knowing many of the firefighters personally, she saw the pain these men and women were feeling and wanted to find a way to give fire departments a means of survival so neighborhoods like her's were protected.
With her combined knowledge of the insurance business and passion for the men and women in emergency services, Debra became an advocate for emergency services and began a billing service that allowed them to recover a portion of the costs incurred on emergency runs from insurance companies. Today, ERS, based in Louisville, Kentucky, has grown to provide emergency reimbursement billing services for fire departments and other emergency services throughout the nation.
